Ordering Update**
Porsche, at the begining of the year-will begin taking orders for the new Panamera.
Expect Base Price of the 6 Cylinder to be at or around $72k.
Initially, those whom want to be first in line; will have to go to the dealership's whom have a 'Porsche Fitting Lounge' and sit down with your Sales Person to spec out the car.
PAG and PCNA both are stead fast in launching the car early Fall. Numbers will not be released until later in Q1 or begining of Q2- but PCNA and PAG both are watching the North American Market VERYYY closely.
Suffice it to say; that there are, indeed 'targets' on certain dealerships.
And that's all I'm going to say on that specific topic.
I made a thread for the haters, but I for one am excited to see the new addition to the Family.
Cheers all.

my problem with the Panamera is the side view, specifically the rear segment, now does this angle really look better in person...maybe a clever move by P marketing, lowering expectations in promo pic then surprising all with the actual car...and what up with the spoiler somebody said it's a new design!?

Mike- all dealerships who want to conform to Porsche's 'image' standards must contain a 'fitting lounge'.
Basically it has paint samples, leather samples, rug samples and wheel samples with the Porsche Configurator in the same area. Convienent to hold up paint and leather samples to a car to get a better idea of the combo's.
It's a nice touch.

I think it looks silly, the new Lambo concept 4 door looks like a sports car and I would easily put the money down on it rather than the Panhandler.....

Definitely poor styling on Porsche's part. The lambo does present with an awesome look. The Maserati and the Rapide have nothing to fear from this Porsche. Heck, BMW and Mercedes will also be sleeping well at night considering this new iteration from Porsche.
