Almost all auto accidents foreclose any other insurance coverage unless you add a specific endorsement, as auto insurance is primary in any accident. This includes Any assets you may own including financials.

My clients child Living in the house and driving his car made him vicariously liable as she had prior convictions for texting and drinking in his car and he was found reckless, as did not control her driving in his household, despite all litigation. This is another form of vicarious liability as it’s mostly used in employer employee relationships.

Well done sir. Now get an umbrella that endorses uninsured/underinsured drivers for another 500k and your good to go for the most part. I believe Amica does that on house.

Yes. Than you have 1 mil if you need it. It’s really not expensive

I never did get to shopping my insurance, forgot about it. Got the bill today which reminded me and I went ahead and dug in. While doing so I noticed that I had the same coverage I've had for a long time, 10 or more years, 300/100 and so on. I upped that to 500/250 with an umbrella and am purchasing from Amica who still managed to come in 300 dollars less than Allstate. I'm glad I looked now and I wanted to say thanks for the input here. So, ah, thanks Gents!
