Variable door stop issue

Variable door stop issue
On my 2016 Panamera 4S, the driver's side door at times doesn't stay open at the point the door's been opened to. There's one spot in particular, near full extension, where the variable door stop function won't "catch", and the door slowly closes. A quick hitch outward/inward on the door seems to trigger the door to stay where it's been told.
Anyone else experienced this issue? I assume there are hydraulics behind this function.

Thanks, glad to hear I'm not alone.
Are you sure it's magnets, though? This article seems to indicate otherwise: https://www.autoblog.com/2016/10/12/...-door-dampers/

Could be in some of the newer models - mine is a 2010 and I was told they use magnets to create infinite adjustability. In any event I seem to have the same issue - the driver's door won't stay open all the way especially if I'm parked on an incline.

I can at least juke mine open with a quick back-and-forth, so it's still in pretty good shape, functionality wise. And it's only in one spot that it will creep back. I'll start carrying around a stick to prop it open if it gets worse.
