I know this doesn’t help the situation but my dogs tracker which cost £30 is more accurate than your sat nav

I have a 2017 and have been wanting the new 2018 SW with more red highlighted areas. My dealer has tried the 2018 update to fix my album art that does not download from gracenotes online. Does your car show album art in new songs after 2017?
my SW update did it take so still have the 2017 version

unfortunately not. I have escalated it with the head of sales and he promised to get back to me within three days. that was nearly 2 weeks ago.

ok thanks for the update. I have told them that this is the last time the car goes in before we talk serious compensation. I don't actually want a different car annoyingly as otherwise I would have pushed for this.

i actually don't even know how the escalation is going to help me as I really don't want to give up on the car. Definitely not taking any other path within Porsche.

Me neither, no point in getting another hybrid and wouldn't want anything but.

Will see how it gets on tomorrow with the software upgrade...

Got to say its ridiculous they haven't sorted it yet.
Ridiculous and not acceptable.

AJ - I (well someone else caused me to) actually wrote mine off a couple of weeks ago and got another one that had arrived into stock, so I cant monitor my old one to see if the issue returns again.
I have discovered that my rear dash cam (which also proved invaluable in my claim ) does effect the DAB, I am just thinking out loud if you have anything on either screen that could be causing any interference ? Prob not but just thinking out loud as I say.

car is going back in next week for 3 days. will be getting a new gps antenna, wiring from gps antenna to the navigation system and a new navigation system... lets see

Got mine back yesterday after the new software. NO CHANGE AT ALL. Within 2 minutes of leaving the house it went for a walk.

Porsche said it did not fault at all on the way back to mine when dropping it off which is hard to believe. Rysed, look forward to hearing how it goes. I have had all of that done at one time or another...

got mine back on Friday. Have done some driving over the weekend - it seems fine but that does not mean it won't be coming. I will keep you posted. They changed the cable from the GPS antenna to the head unit.

Thanks for the update - interesting - they say they have tested mine but haven't replaced it. Maybe I simply insist this is done but they can never fault it in the dealership.

I had a problem with my RSE - they changed everything except the display of the RSE, which they did not want to do as it is too expensive for them to change it and figure out it does not work. I then insisted on it and it then turned out that it was the display. So yes, insist on it if you think this is the path they should take.
