Anyone have any ideas?

It gets expensive fast lol. You need a combination of two things to get rid of the +1.
Power Rear Seats + 4 zone climate control
Personally I really love the look of the 2+2. Makes the rear seem much more "focused" like a limo or something. Plus I think the screen makes a nice "oooh what's this!" for the rear guests. However at the cost it is limited in functionality imo. You get climate control and media control back there. I do wish you could display map and driving data to the rear passengers. Would be like a flight tracker on a plane lol.

According to the configurator only the power rear seats are required to eliminate the +1 seating (a $2020 option). 4 zone climate does not appear to be required. The image below is from configurator (Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo) with only the power rear seat option. 4 zone climate was not selected.
