Default Reset airbag warning???

While I was farting around trying to figure out the best wires for a dashcam power tap, I caused an airbag warning in the dash that won't go away. Argh. Does this require a dealer visit? I'm thinking yes, but open to how to clear it!

I'll be super lame and respond to myself.

I can confirm that my ross-tech cable and vcds worked perfectly to clear the airbag module error code. I've had this cable for a decade now and used it on everything Audi from an RS4, TTRS, RS7. Best investment ever!! It just saved me a $200 trip to the dealer to reset, which is what they quoted me. Stealers. SMH.

It seems like most modules were recognized so you should be able to clear errors, reset reminders and even code a bit if you're adventurous although Ross tech doesn't advise it at all. 😁

Good to know - I've been hanging onto my Ross-Tech VCDS for my wife's S5 but nice to hear it may work on the Panny.
