Does anyone know of a great battery choice for a 2015 panam gts. I was told that Interstate made a good one for it but found out today it was only thru 2014 and do not make one for 2015?

I believe that the battery finder applications have not been updated for the newer model years. Battery should be the same for 2014 through 2016... size H8 and AGM type? Check the label on the battery in your vehicle. The differences between batteries will be... 1) AGM vs lead-acid, 2) CCA or cold-cranking amps (higher for colder climates) , 3) warranty period. There is a vent tube attached to the OEM battery that should be reinstalled on the replacement.

Have called numerous Porsche parts outfits and all tell me that no one makes an aftermarket battery for the 2015 panamera gts. Interstates 2018 book stops at 2014 and so on.
Does anyone know what the issue might be? Of course the dealer has them but this adds 3-4 hundred dollars to the cost.

Google "2015 panamera battery spec". The second link has a battery lookup for 2015 Panamera. As I had noted, the battery is the same as 2014 and prior model years. Battery Group Size BCI 49 is the same as H8. Physical dimension should be the same as the OEM... measure it to confirm. Be sure to buy an AGM type battery. Ask for help at the auto parts stores.
