Default Largest Wheels and Tires for Panamera

I have a 2011 Panamera.I am changing the rims, wheels to make it more sporty. I am looking at some 22 inch wheels but I am not sure if these will fit in the wheel well. Also for 22 inch wheels what is the largest tires size like a 45 series or 40 series, which is the largest to be use where it will not touch. If you have any advice it is appreciated !!!

Make sure the offset is correct on the 22 inch wheels and you will be fine. The norm is a 315/25/22 rear and 265/30/22 front tire. Anything bigger than that and you will probably rub.

And what if I want to use a 40 series tires because the 25 series you recomend I can not use, the roads here are not good. I would not be able to use 22 inch wheels, maybe 20s

The sidewall measurement is a percentage of the tread width. A 315/40 on a 22” wheel is going to be almost 27” in total diameter... but with that much sidewall I think you will look more monster truck than sporty. I have 295/40 tires on my Cobra but on a 18” wheel and the look is modern vintage. This much sidewall doesn’t look sporty.

Be careful with sizes and ratios, or you will have issues with final drive and differential.

if you're really concerned about the roads being an issue don't go with 22's, in my opinion, they look a bit too big. I ran a 21in set up on my 2016 Panamera with 265/35/21 up front (8 wide) and 305/30/21 (11 wide) in the back. i live in Houston and the roads are pretty bad here also. if you really want to run a 40 sidewall you're definitely going to need to use a smaller wheel size.
(you can check my post to see how my car sat on 21's with the tire set up I had.

Ok so 21s with 35 series tires will fit without problems or bottoming out? it is a 4s
I was thinking 20s but I prefer 21s, like the larger wheel look but scared about the roads,we are in Mexico City

Properly sized wheel/tire combinations will be the exact same (roughly) diameter as your current tires - so you should not have to worry about fit or bottoming out

Somewhere on the interweb, I did see a nice tool to help you compare the wheel size/diameters, from what you have now, to what you target, to get the best match. Even had a nice offset setting for your wheels.
If I get energy to look one day, I may, dont kill my goat for not doing so though.

EDIT:
I like my goats alive, so looked up quickly before the Internet assassins come.
Here is one I found useful: CLICK HERE - AND LEAVE MY GOATS ALONE!

you can definitely run a 21 without any issues. my set up was 265/35/21 (front) 305/30/21 (back) and it rode great.
