MY19 Panny sitting at port

Now, that brake issue is a real concern! I found this article about a brake issue. Is that the one you are caught in, fbx? https://www.motorsafety.org/category/porsche-recalls/
I would like to hear more about how they know that it is just these 112 Panameras that are affected. How could such a thing happen in cars that are are still in the production line? The timeline in the article is very troubling. And this is in addition to the steering recall in 2018 Panameras! What the heck is going on at Porsche?

I found this web page where you can enter your vin to see if your car is subject to a recall. It said that my vin is not subject to any recalls. https://recall.porsche.com/prod/pag/...f/VIN?ReadForm
So, a recall before delivery does not seem to be the problem.

@FriscoTexasGuy Bad News. Porsche is putting out communications to all dealers on the timing for Panamera sale dates. Non-E Panameras - 2/14; E-Versions - 4/5; GTS - 5/31
Only Estimates at this point. I'm a non-E so I have a few more weeks to go. If it makes that date, I will have been 5 weeks at the port.

Just talked to the CARB rep that works directly with Porsche. He informed me that Porsche has not submitted the application yet. Told me last year was the same experience. 2018s did not get cleared until April. He informed me that one the application is received, it takes approx. 30 days to receive certification. The wait continues....

@FriscoTexasGuy Just got an email from "My Porsche partner" adding my car to my myPorsche account. I hope this means things are moving and I'll see it soon. Have you gotten the same email?

Datmanagn - This is what my dealer sent to me. Your info is spot on the release date.
However, the original dates are still in place for a model year 2019 Panamera. Keep in mind, the car went into production early and arrived at port almost 8 weeks ahead of schedule. The original expected arrival date at port was March with the expectation that it would deliver the first week of April. The April 5 sale date for the E-Hybrid in the US market is still in place.
It could change and we could see it earlier. We received our Cayenne S models 3 weeks ahead of the planned sale date. We expect to see our regular Panamera, 4S and Turbo models in the middle of February and the GTS will not go on sale until the middle of May. Wish I had better news. The good news is that your Panamera is here and it will be one of the first E-Hybrid’s to arrive.

Since I will be waiting for another 1 1/2 months while my Panny sits at the Houston port, I took some time to use the new configurator to create my build. A massive improvement from the old configurator in my opinion!
