My door mirrors are suddenly not closing with a long press of the key.

If a window is open the window will close.

The mirrors close with the button on the door, or if the box is ticked to close them on locking.

Always has worked before. It had its 10k service a couple of weeks ago, and I have noticed it since.

Any ideas ?

The battery on your key may be dying and becuase of it it is forgetting your settings. Set everything up and save it to the key by hitting the set button on the door and then the key button and see if it starts working again.

what model years does this work for? And I assume a long push of the lock button?

what about holding the door button? does it work that way? that's how i close mine and was just curious if you had tried both methods. might make it key-specific and then maybe battery related...
