Default PDK Campaign Done on 2018 Panamera

Took my 2018 Panamera in yesterday for 1st oil change maintenance. Service writer said there was an open campaign for PDK. The service was done and I noticed an immediate improvement in acceleration from standing stop. Also, gear shifts are now even smoother than before. Highly recommended.

Is this fix applicable to all 971 Panameras? E-Hybrid?

Curious... I had my 2018 Panamera 4 E-Hybrid in for 10k oil change and checking the last week in August (less than 3 weeks ago) at Minneapolis Porsche, and they made no mention of it...

Mine is a base 2018 Panamera. Am traveling now, but when I return this weekend, will update with my build date and more detail from the service receipt.

Update: My base Panamera has a build date according to the Driver's Door jamb of October 2017, with VIN # ending in 6953. According to the service receipt, the work performed was, 'WJ65 Re-program PDK control unit.'

I have been a little disappointed in my transmission since buying the car a few months ago. Seems a bit clunky at times and shift can also be less than smooth at times. Called the dealer and they did indeed say I should come in for the PDK campaign update. Will report back after the service next week.

Took the car in for the PDK campaign a couple of days ago. Definitely helped. No more clicking noises when downshifting from 3-2-1, better/smoother shifts in lower gears and more consistent power when accelerating quickly..

Thanks - do you by chance know if this would apply to 2017 models as well?
