Sport exhaust tips - Help on install
Hi,
I just puchased a set of oem black sport exhaust tips for my Panamera e hybrid.
Can anyone help me with a official Porsche PDF installation guide? Does anyone have access to that?
The part number is: #971P4TBLACK
THANKS!

Did you have any luck finding instructions or did you end up having it done at the dealer?
I'm interested in doing the same.
Was wondering how it turned out and the cost of having it installed.

From my thread a few further down:
In case anyone else wants the answer, no, you don’t need to do much to change them. A low profile torx set from amazon, $20 or so, is all that’s needed to get the screw out for each tip. Replace the tip with a Porsche part that takes the same fastener, and the screw goes right back in. The dealer quoted me $1800. I ended up getting the tips from suncoast and buying the torx set - $1095+20. Very easy.

Thanks. What year is your car? Not sure that's the case for 17+. Suncoast site says "Genuine Porsche exhaust tip upgrade. Replaces the standard tip with this large gloss black plated version for a sporty look. Comes with the left and right side tips, and also comes with new mufflers to achieve the quad-tip look.". Sounds like the mufflers have to be replaced.

I know this is an old post, but I'm pretty new to the forum. I'm not sure I've actually posted or replied to anything.
I'm curious on the Sport Tips, for the 2019/2020 does it come with the muffler components? I'm hopeful it does. I have the 2019 Panamera 4 e-hybrid and would like a little more sound when in Sport mode.

I have a 2018 P4ST, I replaced the stock oval shaped exhaust tips with quart tips. You do need to replace the mufflers. As far as I can tell the mufflers are identical with the exception that the exhaust tip ends are separate for the quart look and kind of bind together for the oval look. There is no different in sound. It's just a placebo effect if someone thinks its louder because s/he just spent extra $1500 to alter the look.
I also have the ceramic coated oval tips for sale if someone is interested in them. Please PM me.
