Default Racechip ECU Tuning for the 4S?

I'm getting a Panamera 4S this week - the Turbo seemed overkill for me, but the 4S felt like it was missing a little grunt. I don't think I'd do anything off the bat, but just curious about possible ECU tunes down the line. It seems like the racechip one is the only one out right now. Has anyone tried racechip before? Anyone for the 4S?

Hi - I have tried it but on my 2010 Panny Turbo. IT was OK except the whole car was running too lean. Unless you get a 'custom' race chip tune (it's possible) then I think it should be fine. Otherwise just go with a direct ECU tune. I returned my race chip and got a direct tune and have been happy with it

Thx

thanks, but I don’t see any tune threads on a 971 yet. Wishing I could get some feedback in the 4s

Racechip didn't work - they took it off their site now. TMC motorsport worked - they don't provide a lot of instructions and had some issues originally, but it should work. They are the same product as VR Tuned by the way. DM me if you need more info.

VR Tune has the instructions posted if you want to eye-ball how it's installed and works:

Default 2018 Panamera 4s

Good Morning to everyone and best regards , just got a Racechip Gts for my Panamera 4 s and after I installed got a engine light and a (!) on the dash board saying I could drive the car but contact dealer , so I went to the trouble shooting on the instructions and took all racechip wires off and hook up factory sensor back to stock any advice on this issue ???

Thanks

Make sure it's connected to the battery and ground. Also, try contacting RaceChip, they can help troubleshoot.

That was my original issue with it as well, I thought they had a fix for it later in though. I switched to a different brand that had the battery connector and had no issues after.

I just email Race chip let’s see if they have a answer, but the way how did you clear the engine light ??

I had a bluetooth adapter (check amazon/ebay - should be $20) and app on my phone (Torque Pro) for that.
