Default Stealth Hitches Customer Reviews!!!

Greetings Panamera Enthusiasts!!

We offer a hidden hitch for the Panamera (2010-2016). Our ball mount and rack connector can be attached/detached in seconds. When not in use, the hitch is unseen. Here is the direct link to the Panamera Stealth Hitch: https://stealthhitches.com/products/...mera-2010-2016

We have our first Panamera customer review and we will be reposting reviews here as they come in with photos and insights to our product! We hope you all find this to be a helpful resource. Feel free to respond to the thread or PM us with any questions you may have as we would love to assist you. You may also contact us via live chat on our website https://stealthhitches.com/ calling us toll-free at 833-MYHITCH (694-4824) or emailing info@stealthhitches.com. These reviews can be found on our website as well!

We also have an album of our hitch installed on the Panamera: https://rennlist.com/g/album/10671361

Enjoy!

Default Review from Bob U.

"Stealth Hitch on Porsche Panamera S

I recently had a Stealth hitch installed at the home office of Stealth Hitch on my 2010 Porsche Panamera S. I then used it to relocate a 2500lb sailboat to Lake Hartwell in Georgia. The product itself is an excellently engineered hitch. One of the best things about the hitch is it's solid connection to the hitch frame. There is no square tube insert like on most draw bar hitches. The Stealth hitch has a rigid connection to the hitch frame which eliminates the disconcerting "hitch slap"when accelerating or braking which you get with an ordinary draw bar type hitch. The techs, office staff and owner were all very friendly and genuinely concerned. They took extra measures to make sure everything went perfectly. If I could give the company 6 Stars I would! Bob from Social Circle Ga"

Thank you for the awesome review, Bob U.! We are glad to hear your towing trip was an easy ride and hope you enjoy your sailboat in Lake Hartwell!

Cool setup! Did you have to cut into the rear bumper valence in order to install the hitch?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Yes, the valence needs to be trimmed a bit to gain access to the hitch. I believe the installation instructions are available on line that shows the cut area. You cannot see it unless you get down below the car and look up.

I love the idea and will be installing one myself in the near future. I saw the instructions online and it seems to be manageable. It sure would be nice to have a video. I think it would be a great selling point.

? Is there 6speeders/rennlisters discount.

Looks like the Panamera wasn't a popular model for the Stealth Hitches guys; link from the OP is dead and no more Panameras in https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/21...MSRP_Chart.pdf

Glad I got mine two years ago.

The dearth of an acceptable Panamera hitch and wiring is the ONLY reason w/ that is currently not my next vehicle.

This should be an OEM configuration option offered by Porsche!

Thanks.

The etrailer is listed up to MY 2020. Would likely get the 2025 refresh model year.

The etowbars is the Euro version, not the US version.

Would also want / need proper vehicle integration on the electrics, not just a lighting module.

Thanks for the info. It appears that all the US companies have discontinued their offerings, presumably due to low demand. etowbars.com is the only company still selling Panamera hitches, other than the Porsche OEM Electrically Retractable hitch 971-044-870 that retails for around $1900.

I'm assuming that the European hitches can be installed on US-spec cars. Does anyone have experience ordering a Euro hitch for a US car?

I found this video overview of the Porsche electrically retractable hitch. It looks nice, but completely unnecessary given how frequently I'd use it.

Has anyone actually ever confirmed whether the OEM hitch can be put on a US car (which, presumably, didn't have the prep option installed from the factory)?

My guess is that physical installation of the OEM hitch isn’t a problem. Wiring would be much more complicated without the wiring prep option and the button already installed in the trunk.
