Default Panamera S 4.8 V8 engine tick **VIDEO**
Looking at purchasing a 2012 Panamera S with about 70,000 miles. Video below shows the engine at idle and revving, but curious about a ticking noise that I could hear coming from the passenger side Bank. Could this be a lifter, or even the dreaded piston slap which would lead to cylinder scoring?

hows the oil consumption per 1000km? alot of smoke coming out of exhaust at idle? color of smoke?

per the owner, he said he hasn't noticed any unusual excessive consumption, and I didn't see any smoke

Sounds more like a spinning accessory making that noise. Doesn’t sound like a lifer tick to me. Maybe just the idler pulley or something like that.
