New to me: 2016 GTS. - - If you’re not sure, GTS!
Hello! I recently purchased a 2016 Panamera GTS. Black. 20in Turbo wheels, Carmine GTS interior. 18k mi on the clock. The last of NA V8 from Porsche. Just that fact should have sealed the deal, but I hesitated with a ‘16 Cayenne GTS. My salesman wasn’t sure why. My brother either. Even myself, I’m not sure now why I wasn’t sure just after she said « hello » when I turned the ignition the first time. The Cayenne? She didn’t say a word!
My kids were happy with the Cayenne: they handn’t seen the Panamera! Until delivery. Until I had the « generic » Porsche key in my hand and walked towards the exit door to drive off in the new vehicule that I told them was parked outside. They knew the car under wraps in delivery area wasn’t a Cayenne. Too long. Too low to the ground. Too wide looking!
Until I unlocked the doors of the under-the-wrap car with the key I was holding! They looked at me with that face! « WTF ?!??!?!!!!!! »
What a perfect car. Classy. Comfortable. The sound. Tight. Roomy. Small. The seats. Fit and finish. The feelings. I personally LOVE the Panny looks. Black. Fits 4 in total comfort. You can only understand the price tag and all the amazing reviews when you dive it for 1 hour. 10 minutes, not enough to get what you are paying for. It feels like my old 6.2L C63 AMG and my 991.1 Carrera S PDK had a baby and all that’s left of the Merc is the sound, which in itself may make this car a classic as all the rest is pure Porsche, if it ain’t already! LOVE IT!
I absolutly love the new Panamera model. But I find the pricing very steep and I prefer, given the option, a V8 naturally aspirated. But we don’t get this option anymore and it’s very likely we won’t see it

Drove one a couple weeks ago, Its a beast. Made me consider trading my 28k mile 2014 4S but the stealership only offered me $40k and wanted $89k for the GTS. I hate my dealer as they totally Suck

And how...with any kind of a spec, that 4S would fly off the lot at $65k with CPO.

Lex you are spot on. I didnt even react when they said that to me. They want All the $$ for the cars they sell and give you 30% off what you should get for yours. If he said 50s for mine I may have considered a discussion. Now that I think about it 3 times I have been in there with a potential to buy and never once did they even come close to finding out what was important to me. Thats why I got my car from another state.
