Default Older GTS or newer style base Panamera

I have been actively looking for a sporty Panamera and narrowed the search to 2014-16 GTS. I had put together a detailed list of criteria. They contain both sporty/fun attributes and must haves like keyless entry - see below for details. There are several nice vehicles in a broad range of 68-85K.
At the same time, several 2017 Base are also available in mid 80s. I am having second thoughts about relaxing some of those criteria.

For example, compare the two below. GTS is clearly more fun and feels special. But is the new body style and chassis worth forgoing GTS. Interested to hear feedback. Thanks!

2016 GTS, 10K Miles, 80K
2017 CPO Base, 20K Miles, 85K

Original GTS criteria

Make: Panamera GTS
Condition: Preferably CPO, otherwise Used in Excellent condition
Model year: 2014-2016
Mileage: < 35000
Price: < 78K

Exterior color: GT Silver, Metallic White, Mettalic Grey, Carmine Red
Interior: Alcantara with red/white GTS stitching and headrests. Otherwise black leather
Wheels: 20 inch high gloss black preferred. The basic metallic wheels look very plain
Keyless entry and start is a must
Sport steering wheel with paddle shifters a must
Lane change assist
Highly desirable: PDCC and PTV. Present in < 2% of cars
Timeframe: Pretty flexible on timing to wait for the right car

Deal breakers

Exterior colors: Black, Blue, Burgundy Red
Interior: anything other than alcantara or black leather. For eg. beige looks very out of place in such a sporty car. On Turbo its fine
Lack of keyless entry
Lack of sport steering wheel

I second that: GTS is the way to go.

I love every minute in my GTS, I keep on looking, but there is nothing I'd rather have.

paging "NeedMoreGarage"... they had a GTS and now a Pana 4, close enough... I think if you search you may find some comments.

Anyways, looks of each may play a factor on my end but both nice cars. I'm biased but I'd go new 971.

I'm leaning toward the GTS. Then trading for a CEO'S newer GTS..

Why don't you order a new Panamera? Base price is $85,000 and with a 8% discount gets in you budget.

As someone with a GTS (with PDCC and PTV) I may be a little biased here......My vote is for the GTS...the drive, the feel, the handling, I'd say it's an easy call there.

As a GTS owner I have to vote for a GTS. It is a blast to drive and I can't get enough of that engine sound. I drove it out to Hershey last Saturday for the swap meet. Great highway car. I am not a fan of the alcantara seats though. The smooth leather is magnificent.

Go with the GTS. It has more soul and I woudn't touch a 971 yet. Give it another year for all the 971 first model year bugs to get worked out.

I'd go newer with RWS. Makes parking a breeze. I personally prefer more modern.
