Well, not unusual, but surprising from the point I thought it would be a piece of cake to stuff a tire set into the boot on the Panny.....but boy- those tires are pretty big off the car! Had to think a little about the proper orientation to get them in! But they did go in and the hatch closed on its own.

PS: Thanks again osu s2k!!

I gotta figure out how to get a full set in the car or just make two trips as it's only 4 miles or so.

same answer for me -- four humongous Panamera tires when changing back and forth between winter tires and summer tires ... they barely fit

It’s an ornamental bike for the garden. Took it from the U.K. down to Spain. Not inside but what a mess it made of the roof when a strap snapped. I’ve had the dents removed, never again 😠

@Addbuyer Strewth. On the yellow bike theme, did you see the state of the recent bike race in Harrogate and the flooding.

I sure did, feel so sorry for all those people getting flooded out. It’s been even worse in Spain we learnt yesterday. I’ve seen pictures of motorway tunnels almost submerged so water deeper than articulated lorries

I noticed my 9.0 longboard entirely fits inside the Panny (970.1). It's a good surprise: no need to use the wife's car (with roofrack mounts) when there's a swell coming (which is rare where I live but not unheard of). So yup: once in a while a 9.0 longboard goes in (within it's heavy protection bag and I take great care of not damaging anything).
