2018 Panamera turbo- oil temperature
Quick question..what is your normal oil temperature reading?
Mine is around 106c ( say 222F), in very moderate driving. No warning lights of any kind. Just higher than any car I have owned - are others getting similar temps??

I would be curious to see what others with the same engine post. I agree, that does seem high.
Not to cast aspersions on the dealer, but sometimes it seems their stock answer to those types of questions is "they're all like that".

It's normal. Most new engines do it now - keep oil at higher temp to reduce friction losses and increase thermal efficiency. Some, like BMW, go as high as 240F in normal cruising. Some drop to lower oil temp when switch to sport mode (Porsche), some when driven aggressively (BMW), some never.

My 2016 Panamera Turbo runs at exactly the same oil temp, about 222, while water temp is about 200.
