Criminy crimbo! Lovely. But no SCP? Funny how our differing tastes play out. Looks like you've chosen more carbon than an Airbus. Having seen the deviated seats and stitching I now have to have either one. Anyway, lovely. Will post mine, too, if ever I get around to finishing it.

Performance wagons are an incredibly small niche and not just in the USA. Mercedes production numbers on the E63S Estate (I have one) runs in the 220-245 number each year, with half of them making it to the US market. BMW and Audi don’t even sell their performance wagons in the US market anymore. You would think that with a rare car like this, it would be hard to find. No, not at all. When I bought my 2016 I went online and found a nicely optioned car in Florida that I had shipped to me in CA. When I wanted to upgrade to a 2018 (2017 was a gap year, no AMG due to the model generation shift) I went online again and found another wagon that was optimally optioned out. I held that car for 48 hours but did not buy it. The wagon is my wife’s daily driver, but when I looked at the 2018 next to my current car, I was a little meh on it. It worked out well becasue now she wants a Panamera, so I’ve been loitering in this forum reading the threads.
