Sport Turismo that have been delivered..

The Sport Turismo is just so damn sexy. If depreciation was my main concern, I'd go buy a 3 year old Subaru Outback.

The AMG wagon is only offered in the E63S form.
The largest volume luxury car markets in the USA are actually Miami and Dallas. I suspect that LA, Chicago, and NYC to New Jersey round it out. The Bay Area is strong but it feels like this has become Tesla territory. I have bought all my AMG and Range Rover vehicles from dealers in Florida and had them shipped to me (I’m Bay Area)... no markup, easy to do business with.

Whin I bought my ST I assumed it would be a depreciation dog unlike my RS cars. Did not care. I love the thing and it will have adventures...........

I'm actually wondering if my Pan4 ST E-Hybrid won't go down much more slowly in value in the next couple of years than a normal Panamera sedan.

Surprised there have not been more review comparisons between the ST and the AMG, but R&T finally did here:

I purchased an E63 s wagon, and it is an amazing car, but the design is plagued by a mis-fire problem that is lighting up CELs in distressingly large numbers and no one at MBUSA (much less the dealer) knows what the problem is. My CEL came on after 250 miles, but hasn't returned since being shut off. MBUSA's only response is to buy back cars from those who complain the loudest.
And so the debate rages on.

Given that the cars on cars.com seem to be sitting and sitting, with more presumably unsold supply arriving over time, when will it become realistic that dealers will start accepting low ball offers? Will 4S's with stickers of $120k sell for $90k? At some point they have to move this metal, no?

My car sticker for $113k with 4 thousand miles they offered $83k on trade. $30k below sticker. These people who bought $190-200K turbos will lose 50-60K as soon as it left the lot.

Wow that seems like a great deal you got. Wondering - where'd those 4000 miles come from? Dealer demo?

Wow. You got a dealer to drop $30k from sticker on a new car - that seems pretty amazing. You're either the worlds best negotiator or that was one flexible/desperate dealer! Good for you. Maybe I'll start making low ball offers on in-stock 4S's...

I just posted a report of my cross-country USA trip in my 2018 Sport Turismo as a new thread at https://rennlist.com/forums/panamera...l#post15276301
