2014 Panamera Hybrid Trunk Opening by itself

I have a new to me 2014 Panamera S e-Hybrid and found that if it is parked in my garage unlocked that about every 3 hours the trunk seems to open automatically. The keys are on a key ring. If it is locked, then the trunk stays closed. Any thoughts on what could cause this?

Turns out it was the trunk lid switch.
