2017 Panamera turbo oil level too low

Hello everyone,

I picked up my Panamera turbo brand new in September 2017. This evening when starting the car it showed the oil level was too low, and the car has only 1600 miles.

I topped up about a litre and now it shows it’s ok.

Is this normal?

I purchased a 2018 Panamera Turbo in August 2017. I've since put about 6,500 miles on the car and I've had to put about 2 quarts of oil into the car and it's showing 3/4 on the green bar when you go to oil level. In the past I've had cars that consumed a quart of oil every 1,000 miles and was told it was normal. The owners manual does state to check oil level during every gas refill. considering how large the tank is I don't think this is bad advice.
