Sorry to hear of your problem. I’ve had my Panamera for 6 weeks, its a 2018, and the navigation works flawlessly. Good luck.

Yes, actually happened for the first time this weekend although has worked fine before then. Let me know if you take it up with Porsche.

Could’ve been a glitch that weekend. It’s been fine since. That day my apple maps was a little weird too. But all good now I hope.

Random side note. It took me forever to figure out why the rear seat controls were “parental blocked” with no functionality until finally, after several searches, it’s the window lock button on the drivers door sill.

Luckily figured out on Day 1 when my kids were fighting for their favorite song and opened the rear window at the same time. LOL
Btw, the settings wont store properly for "All doors" unlock, exterior mirrors fold when locking and the customize button on the steering wheel. They work once or twice and reset back to original settings. Its annoying and I couldn't find a pattern to troubleshoot.

When I picked up my 2018 e-hybrid Panamera, the GPS showed the car was still in Germany rather than Houston, Texas. After a bit of driving during the first training session, the GPS found its way to Houston, but was off by several miles. The car spent two days in the shop the second week I had it to fix this. It was determined that the GPS module, antenna or both were defective, and parts were ordered. In fact, both of the first two 2018 e-hybrid Panameras that the dealer delivered had similar GPS issues, so parts were ordered for both. The parts came in on 4/23, and the dealership is installing them. I will let you know if this resolves the issues.

Well if the GPS said the car was in Germany, you should have taken it out on the Autobahn!

This is unfortunately a very common problem - mine has just had its antenna replaced. Hopefully will work properly - due back today.

Apparently Porsche has a MAJOR PROBLEM with its GPS modules and antenna. I just hung up with my service rep, who is known to be the best in Houston. He is very frustrated as the new module shipped in to replace the original defective module will not program. He has ordered a second replacement GPS module. Normally, Porsche will give him and expected ETA on the part, but not now. I have not had my 2018 e-hybrid Panamera for a month yet, and it is still not right. This is a major failure for Porsche.

Please keep us posted. I too am having issues with GPS while driving on highways and it shows my car is off highway and constantly rerouting me. I don't live close to the dealership, so I would like to avoid having to take my car in if necessary.

I am afraid the news is not good, the recent trip to the dealership and the swap of the antenna has made it 10x worse. It is now not metres off but miles off. Suggestion is to try it with Google Maps switched off in order to ascertain whether it is related to that part of the system or otherwise. So will see and then get it booked in for the THIRD time.

Tried google maps, it worked on screen, although I didn't plot a route. Will do that on way home tonight.
Actually I haven't used apple airplay before as I tend to Bluetooth music and as the iPhone cable is £18m I leave it at home, the message system is pretty good, avoids the temptation of picking up the phone.

Was weird last week, virtually the same place near Holloway the GPS lost the route, but this time instead of finding it later on the way back up the M1, as shown on the other thread, it headed south across the channel into France. Its beginning to get annoying now.
I hope Porsche dumps who ever makes these parts for them.
(and ironically I curbed the b*****r exiting Manchester airport yesterday - collecting some friends from Paris! )
