Default Black out letters

Hello! I love what you have done. I have a 2016 panamera 4S and i am looking at blacking out my vehicle as well. I was wondering how or where you got the black letters for the back.

Thanks in advance!

Duncan

jtorrebl, your tint looks super clean. I'm in the LA area and was asking around for tint. Most shops cautioned me about the window sweep on my 18' pana scratching. McKenna Porsche uses a 3rd part for their tint. They install additional felt, but advised it would only prevent it from not scratching as much. Any issues with your tint scratching? Where did you get your tint? BTW, your Pana is super clean.

looks good, except for the license plate. Personally, I would replace it with WARIORZ. Just think about it.

Thanks! The tint did scratch. The dealer tinter tried to get the felt in but couldn’t since I have the thicker thermal glass. Done at Circle Porsche. He’s done another car of ours no problem.

It will get better and eventually the bleeding will stop. Be (more) patient.

Harpers has the trim for $977. https://www.harperautoparts.com/v-20...trim-rear-door
make sure you toggle see the front door trim . One other option is for $250 take to plating shop.

https://sheffieldplaters.com/capabilities/. But you still have to remove the trim and install it

I just had mine done at Glistening Perfection in Costa Mesa...they remove the window panels to add a felt strip and used Huper Optik ceramic tint. I was told that the scratching will be significantly minimized as a result of it.

This looks good! What % is your tint?

I heard there can be an issue with the tint scratching if the panels aren't taken off and if moleskin or felt isn't being used. If they did this to your vehicle, did it work well? If they didn't do this to your vehicle, are there scratches on your tint?

There's multiple members here that have confirmed that without the moleskin the tints do indeed scratch.

I had the installer put in moleskin felt liners when I had 3M Cystalline installed and over a year later no scratches.
