Was checking out my friend's '17 PTT and I snapped a pic of the RVC image. It seemed distorted to me and not clear on the default "Rear" setting. When I pushed panoramic view it looked a little better. I have a '15 PGTS now and had a '15 Macan S. The cameras are awful and there were threads on MacanForum with members commenting on how bad they were. I happened to see an '18 Mercedes CLA 250 (33k base price) RVC yesterday and the image is amazingly clear. Not sure how it's possible a 175K car does not have a quality camera. I'm thinking there's something wrong with my friend's. Let me know if anyone has noticed this, or better yet please post pics of your RVC images if possible...

My '14 PTT camera totally sucks and at night there is so much refraction off the license plate that I cannot see anything beyond the immediate back of the car. I have had it in several times just for that and the dealer just shrugs and says that is the best it will ever be. They did show me how to increase the brightness of the image on the screen but does not help for nighttime.

I have same issue with my 2016 pan. Be careful at night when you are in backup mode. Please look back !!! LOL ...

I have a 17+ 4S and no issue with the rear view camera, day or night. Crystal clear unlike the pic posted.
