Hi guys,

I have a Porsche Panamera 4S -2010 and the last few weeks I've noticed a rattle sound from the drivers door, at first I thought it was something with the door panel but I think I've tracked it to actually be a external sound from the side mirror. When tapping on the mirror I can reproduce the sound and you can also hear a rattle sound from the mirror when closing the door.

Anyone experienced the same thing? Any clues on how to solve it?

I'm thinking of removing the mirror glass to have a look, anyone that have removed the glass that can give me some instructions?

If it is the side mirror, blow some compressed air behind the glass to see if anything dislodges or rattles? I have also have been told that a bolt may be loose behind the interior trim on the A-pillar.

From the shop instructions: "Removing Mirror Glass: Press the outside of the mirror glass inwards and carefully pull it out on the inside. Unclip plug connection from the bracket Release plug connection and disconnect it" That should get you access to inside the mirror
