Default 970 with 18 inch tires - speedo wrong

My 2012 has 18 inch wheels (long story) and my speedo appears to be low at speed (shows 76 when going 70). I get the math but... can the speedo be recalibrated?

If I'm not mistaken, it can't be done...at least from what I've searched online.
Nevertheless, check your tire sizes and tire pressure. I'm seeing that 18's should have 245/50R18 fronts and 275/45R18 rears

All cars sold in the US have a speedo error where they read fast. That is because of a law that makes the manufacturer responsible if they are slow. As a result all of my cars are a little fast. Some its 2-3 mph at 75, others is 8mph. This might be your issue. What makes the difference in tires is the tire diameter, not the wheel diameter. If your size is the same diameter as stock tires, then it’s normal.

You can control on your dashboard if size of tire is good. You can modify it.
