Default PASM - Chassis height - Lift

can someone do me a favor and explain the chassis ride height - lift?
i understand “medium” is standard and there is the choice to have it “lift”

i cannot find anything in the manuals or google about this “lift” option.
Besides the obvious that it lifts the suspension for certain road conditions. I ask because I do actually like the ride with this option turned on, especially in nyc, and driving with snow filled roads. It seems to turn off on its own and cannot tell when it does; stop lights perhaps.

Thanks!

Your question is in regards to PASM with Air Suspension...

"High Level
The level control system allows you to raise the
vehicle in maneuvering mode by approx. 0.8 in.
(20 mm) compared with the normal level in order
to drive over curbs and ramps.
High Level can only be selected manually and at
speeds of less than approx. 20 mph (30 km/h)."

Nice. Thank you.
perhaps it can’t be used all day and just low speeds. Oh well.
