DEVIL IN A RED DRESS - 570s + Novitec Galore + Velocity AP + TAG Motorsports
*In the past year, we have started to get more personal with the 570s Mclaren, as you may have seen with our own 570s project. This is another special Mclaren we got to work on and wanted to share.
The car came to us in the form of Vermillion Red, with a ton of MSO upgrades already. Such as the OEM Carbon Fiber Roof. After a quick conversation with the owner, it was decided that we would outfit the McLaren with trusted parts we have used and tested on our own project for quality and fitment.
We started by dressing the 570s with the essential Novitec pieces. Front lip Spoiler, Rear Bumper Trims, Rear Spoiler, and rear air intake. This gave the 570s a more assertive look to match its performance. The cool part about the Novitec Carbon pieces is they have the similar “V” pattern in the carbon weave, that matches the OEM carbon weave. We noticed this in how well the transition from the MSO carbon roof to the Novitec rear air intakes is. The front lip spoiler, also mates well with the carbon flaps on the front as another example. But then again, we expect nothing less from a program such as Novitec’s.
To help the stance out a little with the OEM wheels, we installed Novitec lowering springs, and their spacer set front and rear.
On the performance side, to give this animal some more bark and bite, we turned to Velocity AP. We installed their Race Downpipes, and X-Pipe to give the car a completely new menacing soundtrack. For the Bite part we implemented the Velocity AP ECU Upgrade.
We feel this car executes a somewhat OEM plus look, with the proper pieces added to it. And its stunning to say the least.

I wish somebody would come out with a totally redesigned front end for these that could be retrofitted. I can't stand the front of them. However, the rest of the car looks amazing!
