Does the Sport Cat downpipe provide the power and torque boost and the muffler bypass the sound, or do they both provide a little of both? I saw your video when i was researching the car, sounds amazing! do you have any before and after videos?
The M2 is a brilliantly fun machine. My father has an E46 M3, and in my opinion the M2 is the only modern M car that has a hint of that raw fun like the E46 has.
One of my close clients has an M2 and we hit the track together. Could not believe how well that car responds to just hardware alone. Noticeable performance increase from our Sport Cat Downpipe, and combining that with our Muffler Bypass System creates a wonderfully aggressive sound on throttle with little to no cabin noise at cruising speed.

When the m235i changes to the m240i there is more to think about.
Power will be very close to the M2. The wheel housings are pretty big, larger tires are no problem. Put in a shorter final drive with a LSD. You can't have premium leather in the m2 either so not much to lose.
I hear the price is actually going down a bit, might be from removing some standard options.

My friend just got his M2, he loves it
I wanted a fun sedan so I went with a 2017 M3 with competition package. I added a few mods....H&R springs and front lip from Turner Motorsport and graphite Volks from Vivid Racing (not the new blue graphite but some charcoal graphite that Volk custom painted for another customer who didn't take them)

Thanks, Sakhir Orange was my first color choice so I spec'd the car exactly how I wanted and waited a few months for it to arrive. The X5M and Cayenne Turbos are just a blast to drive.......faster than any SUV ever needs to be but darn they are fun.

Three Wheelin'
i have, yes. I also installed KW Clubsports which transformed the car. It was a really good BMW beforehand, now it's damn close to feeling like a Porsche. The only difference you notice is the weight. It's easily got 400+lbs on the Cayman and 300 over the GT3.

Is it now nearly aus much fun and engaging as a P-GT car?
