Here, the less 'mature' option would be a Camaro SS 1LE.
Almost embarrassed to say that my M2 may be the least "fast and furious-y" car that I own. It's all subjective of course. One thing I will add is that the car has to be driven in Sport Plus mode at all times to be properly enjoyed. Any other engine map / Boost set up is a waste of time.

When you get a good looking oversteer M2, rwd, 3 L, 6 pot at same money!
That's a bit of a stereotypical response. Just take a look at the EVO car of the Year 2016. 911 R first...Golf Clubsport S second....M2 last.

And this comment is coming from a person who takes delivery of his M2 next month.

agreed, i think the m2 is a more mature choice! maybe it's based on what country you live in. The Golf doesn't have backseats either, #2 on my list.

Only problem with Clubsport S is that we can't get it in the States.

Another VW fail. For a car company that just overtook Toyota for the title of largest car manufacturer they can't get out of their own way in the U.S.

Car secured! A dealer in MN had this advertised on autotrader. it was already sold, but i put my name down as #3 on their list for an allocation (i was #9 on my local dealers list). when the buyer backed out, the people in front of me wanted automatics, so it's mine. I'm getting paperwork tomorrow and should have first or second week of February.
M2 incoming!

Congrats. Another RS/GT3 owner decided the M2 was the best daily for the money!

Doing Fabspeed downpipes and Dinan Sport? This seems to be the best tuning option right now. Get you to 408/430 for 1500 bucks.

M2s are pretty good value for what you pay for it. With a little mods it can be fairly competitive track car and a fun daily driver

I've owned two e92 M3s. I bought the second one *after* I spent some time in the f80. As for DCT, that's probably the way to go with the f80 as it's more of a large luxury sedan than a sports coupe.
i agree

e92 m3 with na v8 is an excellent driving car... superior in all qualitative measures over the f80 model

f80 lost feel, balance, and got real fat (not that the e92 is a liteweight...)... only redeeming feature of f80 is torque off idle... and that even detracts from sporty driving...

drove my e92 m3 quite a bit over last month... with dct and inconel exhaust broken in... sweet sweet sweet 8/10ths car for road driving

The M2 is a brilliantly fun machine. My father has an E46 M3, and in my opinion the M2 is the only modern M car that has a hint of that raw fun like the E46 has.

One of my close clients has an M2 and we hit the track together. Could not believe how well that car responds to just hardware alone. Noticeable performance increase from our Sport Cat Downpipe, and combining that with our Muffler Bypass System creates a wonderfully aggressive sound on throttle with little to no cabin noise at cruising speed.
