"Flowtie"? I smell BS.
How about they work on shedding some of the extra 500(!)lbs this car weighs over the Corvette?

Really? Did you watch the whole video? It was damp most of the track and quite wet after 6th min, and he was on his wipers for the last 1.5 mins.

Why would they want to? That's what the Corvette is for. This car is for beating Mercedes, BMW'S, Mustangs, Challengers and occasionally beating up on a Corvette or Porsche. The mustang and camaro have huge followings. Everyone doesnt want the smallest lightest car they can find. This is the kind of car i would buy. I like under dogs.

The Corvette (Z51) is cheaper, lighter, and with less HP. It's the better underdog. The Z06 may be a tad more expensive but it will blow this Z28 away.

Have you noticed how little of steering corrections Walter Rohrl did while driving on the wet track. He is very talented. I doubt I can beat his wet lap time on a dry track. I have seen other race drivers with much more steering corrections on a dry track compared to Walter's on the wet track. It certainly pays off to have smooth inputs.

How much extra for the flowtie???

Porsche would certainly charge for this.
