We actually bought our E36 M3 off of E-Bay when we were living in NY state; it was at a Ford dealership in Canton, Ohio. Jack nabbed it before any bids were made, so we got a great price, but then had to drive to Canton that weekend to get it. And, it is a 5-speed.
#2 son Kevin bought his E30 off of E-Bay, too. He flew out to Chicago and had to prove to the seller that he knew how to drive (the seller was an experienced race car driver) before he would sign the car over. After having done numerous DE's, Kevin convinced him easily.

Reading and reading with comprehension, berry berry different. So it is your contention that the OP was serious about this listing and purchasing the car. So you were just giving your honest advice to try and help out a fellow rennlister, because you thought he was serious. Ok, cool, makes perfect sense. And your concern with the car had something to do with the owner being a foreigner. Ok, cool, makes perfect sense. Boy did you show me,l wow am I a moron... Ok, cool, makes perfect sense. Sorry you missed all the great sarcasm in this thread, but that is what makes your post so damn funny. Get it?
