I went to the Auto Show last week and it looks so much better in person. I didn't like it from pictures but was struck by the presence. I'm considering selling my E55 wagon for it.

I'd gladly take a Cadillac CTS-V wagon over an E55 wagon. In fact, I can't think of a single metric in which the Benz would be the "better" car. I think that makes perfect sense when you're comparing a 2012 model against something that hasn't been available since 2006.

I'd love to have a CTS-V wagon, especially if they made all wheel drive an option on it.

I normally go for performance over looks (Porsche owner after all) but you have to draw the line somewhere.........and that is one fuggly beast!

ME!!!! I saw one the other day... It's a performance bargain... and the first Caddilac I've ever liked. Buy it a couple years used... the depreciation goes down quicker than the Titanic.

Looks better than any Porsche I've seen... but I'd need a test ride to see if the performance was adequate.

I too have driven a V wagon on the track...forgot it was the wagon version after half lap at Houston MSR. And...it was an auto version. The manual V is a whole nother animal :<) I also drove the V coupe with a manual the same day...caught the backmarkers in A hurry.

I raced a Ruff Turbo with one (ACCELERATION ONLY) and the P car beat it everytime (dead stop, roll, etc., etc.)...but the big Caddy hung fairly close and sure is comfy as well with the magnetic ride control!

Typo ... but yes, I had a first year CTS-V. Got rid of it because of build quality. With the sunroof there was a definite flex which produced noise when backing out of the drive, etc. Additionally, the front speaker panels on the dash would not stay flush. Little stuff one might say, but overall it was not built to the standards of a car going for that price.
