WINTER CAME.. 2019 RS5 SPORTBACK x HRE WHEELS x AWE x KW - TAG Motorsports
The RS5 has always been a popular car in the Audi lineup and in our shop, but the Sportback has really taken the RS5 appeal to new levels with the current B9 generation. We did the ABT kit on ours, but it was nice to work on another RS5 for our customer, that can showcase what can be done with some key upgrades.
We started by installing the AWE touring exhaust, and AWE Carbon Intake while we had some parts in the paint booth. In the paint booth, we were painting the brake calipers to match the RS5’s exterior paint code. We feel that custom painted brakes really are a clutch way to change the look of your vehicle and give it some character. Especially if your vehicle comes with a massive brake system! Another subtle but key touch is our TAG Blackout cosmetic badges that we painted and installed at the same time.
Before installing the wheels we put in the KW HAS adjustable spring to give our customer some height options to fine-tune the look and improve the handling while retaining the factory adjustable shocks. For the wheels, the legendary HRE P101 was installed. You almost can never go wrong with the P101 and it looks right at home on the RS5. The HRE wheels were finished in Satin Black and wrapped in Michelin P4S tires.
