OT: AMG Wagon Owners
Hi all - sorry for the off topic thread but I noticed that many people in this forum are also AMG Sedan/Wagon owners so I figured I would toss out the question. I am considering an AMG Wagon for my daily driver. I am also considering a base 991.2. My questions:
1) For those that have owned/drived the w212 vs. w213 AMG e-class, how different are the rides? Is the newest generation really that much better than the previous? I care about ride quality and daily driveability because my wife and I will be both driving it plus will have 3 kids, bikes, Home Depot runs, etc. I know both a f'ing fast and fun when at 7/10ths and above. But for a daily driver, is the price premium for new generation worth it?
2) Durability: can you comment on durability of these cars? IMO, porsches are bulletproof and I love that.
3) Is a base carrera going to be a better driving experience than a w213 AMG? I know it isn't as practical but will in be more fun as a daily driver?
