Is it just me or do many of you guys have a Ford Raptor in your stable? Is it for towing? Cruising around town? Just curious.

For me, I'm in construction, so truck looks better on a job than a GT3. Second, they ride really nice and are loaded with all kinds of creature comforts. Tons of room inside for 5 big people. Last, it is a different experience in the back country. Does really well on rough dirt roads. It's actually not a good towing vehicle. Only tows 5-6,000 lbs. IIRC. Could tow 1 car on a smaller trailer, but that is about it.

Its my DD that can tackle the concrete jungle (roads are terrible in and around Houston) and provides the most utility. It does everything well and is quite luxurious for a truck. Its nice to drive something that you don't worry about.

I had 2 older raptors and now have a tundra trd pro and may get a new raptor in future. I think it looks cool, rides great, and some of us consider it more practical to drive around than our other(sports) cars.

My '18 Raptor might be the nicest and quietest cruising vehicle in the stable. Very capable on and off road in stock form. Hard to beat for $$ to smiles ratio. Thumbs up from kids. No downside unless you are pressed for parking space.
