Default BMW M2 Competition

Any thoughts on the new M2 Competition? Had an early production F80 M3 and was underwhelmed. Numb feel, crap sound. Wondering if this latest M iteration will be much of an improvement and hit the sweet spot for daily fun.

Supposed to be good - a better M2. They added weight to the M2 which is not good. It should be more fun than the M3/M4 because of shorter wheelbase and more compact size. I have to drive one first to decide.

Have you driven the M2?

I really like the looks of the M2 but from what I have read / heard around the M2 also suffers from the MCS - Modern Car Syndrome: Numb, larger, disconnected.
