I've been getting emails asking when C&Cs are going to start, so to answer that question our first meet will be on the Monday of Memorial Day Weekend, on May 27, 2019. After that we will resume meeting on Sundays. So finish up your DIY winter projects so your cars will be ready.
I know several of you are already "Regulars," so you know the drill. However, below is info for those who have not previously attended our meets.
Location: The Moose Cafe, 1160 Stafford Road, Tiverton, RI 02878. We park in the larger parking lot to the left side of the Moose Cafe. We may occasionally meet at our old Taunton location, but I will let you know in advance if we are doing that.
Date: Starting Memorial Day - Monday May 27, 2018, and then roughly every other Sunday (Weather Permitting). Please check updates that you receive as it will let you know if we are rescheduling or bumping the meet out by a week. Our second meet will be on Sunday, June 9, 2019. If the weather remains nice then we will continue to meet into October. Please check this thread for updates to the schedule.
Time: 9:30 AM until whenever.
Feel free to bring a friend, girlfriend, wife, etc. I know some ladies don't want to be the only girl at a car meet, but don't worry about that, my wife attends about 90-95% of the meets. So chances are your wife/girlfriend won't be the only girl there. Feel free to email or PM me if you want to be sure she is attending.
Location Description: The location is perfect for this type of get together. The traffic is light on Sunday mornings since most of the stores are still closed. We often get people who will stop by to look at the cars and ask questions and we have never had any bad experiences. Local patrols also leave us alone which is nice. Please be respectful of the businesses around the location for the meet, and please don't do any high performance driving or launch control demonstrations from the parking lot where we meet, as we do not want to draw any negative attention to our meets.
This isn't just for Porsches, so if you have something else fun, or have friends with other fun cars feel free to bring them.
Weather Permitting: Most of us don't mind meeting up on cold or overcast days but rain really spoils this one since we are standing outside. If it's raining or looks like it will assume the GTG is cancelled.
I will try to provide updates & reminders so everyone knows when the next GTG will be.

As always it was great seeing so many of our regulars in attendance such as Dan 991S Cabrio, Dave M 997S, Paul S 944, Karl & his wife 911 Turbo, their son Austin 944, Dave Ch 991 Turbo, Dave C black 991 Cabrio, Gilles Citroen SM, Jim & Elizabeth with their new Maserati GTMC, Will & Sarah with their recent upgrade to a 991.2 , Tim D Boxster, Tim P 944 Turbo, Billy & Beth 944S2 , Patrick 944, Brianna & Dwayne S2000, Noah S2000, Bill & Gail 987 Cayman S, Ed Cayman S, Ray M6, Kenny Testarossa, Steve 930, Brett 930, John 996, Lee 993 Turbo S, Shamous & Esly with their newly acquired 981 Boxster , Mike P with his recently acquired 981Boxster.
We also had several new attendees: Adam F M3, Bob V Red 928GT, Bob C 360 Modena, Doug & Tracy with their recently acquired 964 on gold BBS wheels, Gerald with his silver 1976 912E, and Sam Civiic R.
Special award to Nick and Brittney C4 Corvette, for attending and bringing 2 cars so their baby Abigail could attend also! Nothing like getting the little ones started early!
I know there were many other people I didn’t get around to meeting or catching up with, but I hope to do so at future meets.

I'm really glad you and your wife were able to come and join us for our first meet of the season! It was great meeting you and my wife had a really nice time chatting with Tracy. Congrats again on your beautiful 964! I look forward to catching up with you again soon.
Thank you for joining us on another beautiful Sunday! Even with 4 other car events going on we still had a very respectable turn out with 24 cars. I was able to catch up with many of our regular attendees Patrick 944, Dan 991 S Cabro, Will & Sarah graphite blue 991S, Tom G M3, Austin S 944, Paul S 911 3.2, Tim P Cayman S, Dave M 997S, Billy & Beth 944S2, Gilles Citroen SM, Steve white 911 3.2 Cabrio, Nick & Brittney brought their baby Abigail, their C4 Corvette and 2 other Vette driving friends. Mike S also brought his beautiful recently acquired mid 80’s Alfa Spider. He is already registered for the big New England Italian Car Show Tutto Italiano.
New attendees were Stef with her 1978 VW camper bus! Motor vehicles must run I’m the family, her dad is Tom G with the M3. Also, Ann F brought her show car condition E500! Such a cool collaboration between Porsche and Mercedes. Love this W124 MB with flared fenders and big 5 liter V8 ! Tim W brought his beautiful 930 Turbo out to share with us.
I know I missed a few people or their names, the 993 owner from Lexington, the blue 911 3.2 owner, the Audi R8 owner, the 2 Vette buddies who were with Nick & Brittney, and the Lancia owner (still haven’t met you but hope to soon).
Our next meet will be on Sunday, June 23, at the Moose Cafe. See you guys there.
