Dino,
Nice gathering today....great to meet folks. I quickly realized after a short blast of acceleration away from the Moose Cafe, i noticed smoke on the passenger side wheel well. Discovered my oil cap was loose spraying oil all over the passenger side of the engine (first rookie mistake after 12 yrs of ownership). Tightened up the cap and most of the oil burned off the exhaust on the way home....now I have some clean up in the engine bay. Nice drive down and back today...I will definitely make the trip again.

So glad you made the trip down to see us and that you enjoyed the meet. Also glad to hear that the smoke from your car wasn't anything serious. Yes, please do visit us again, we love having new people join us to look at and chat about the cars.
Best regards,
Dino

Hi Guys,
thank you you for joining us on this holiday weekend. It was nice having a Sunday where I didn’t have to check the forecast for rain, we had beautiful weather and a great turn out. Some of the regulars who attended were Hans, Dan, Sarah & Will, Mike & Lori, Noah, Dwayne & Brianna, Steve B & Karen, Martin, Tim P, Paul, Brett, Tom (e30 M3), Ryan, Dave (991Turbo), Lee, Nick & Alex (i8), Josh, and Anthony. Congrats to Nick & Brittney (Corvette C4) on the delivery of a healthy baby girl. Lee (1958 Lancia) and Josh (Hot rod I forget what year) get awards for the oldest vintage cars ever to attend our meets.
We were rejoined by Steve H (red 911SC) and we also had several new attendees, Rob, Mike B & his dad Phil B, and Drew, who was parked next to me a few weeks ago at Tutto Italiano with a marrone Ferrari Mondial 3.2 Coupe. Drew brought his bright green 1976 912e and he has some other cool cars so stay tuned to see what he bring in the future.
Our next meet will be a bit different. It will be on a Saturday, September 15th, at noon at the Newport Car Museum, in Portsmouth RI (1947 W. Main Rd). The Ct Valley PCA will be there from noon to 3. So in addition to the 40-50 cars in the museum and driving simulators, there will be all the Porsches that the CT PCA region brings. Admission to the museum is $18. If people want to cruise down to the museum together (maybe from our old Taunton location Starbucks 65 Taunton Depot Drive, Taunton MA), please let me know and we can finalize the place and time to meet up. Otherwise I’ll just see you guys there.
I look forward to catching up with everyone again soon.
Best regards,
Dino

Attendees were Tim P, Dave M, Steve B white 911 Cabrio, Mike & Lori S, Tim & Shari, Mike with his new 991 GT3RS, Dave (991Cabrio), Paul S, Paul W. Below are a few photos...sorry I didn't get as many as usual, my photo assistant, Jill, couldn't be there.
