Teal greenish 928 spotted in Andover this morning...... did the flash/wave as I drove by him sitting at a light, and guy was on his cell phone......didn't notice...... so sad. And, today I was actually in my Cayman, so it wasn't like I was waving and flashing from my wife's mini-van!
Lots of sightings today! Started off the day with this parked by Dover Automotive:
I waved to a gray-ish convertible 911 on Rt 9 in Natick around mid-morning. I got a wave back, and he had a tow-hook-mount license plate, so he might be on RL!
I saw a black convertible 911 parked at the Dover library this afternoon, and then got a glimpse of what looked
like a white 997 coupe a few minutes later on Springdale Ave.
Edit to Add: I also saw a black convertible '85 911 on Walpole St in Dover, but not sure if it counts since I know the owner

Interesting that I don't know who that 928 belongs too. Dude must not be plugged-in to the 'net. 'Teal greenish' is a very rare color on a 928.

I will be out-and-about tomorrow in my 'Teal greenish'-but-is-usually-mistaken-for-blue 928 tomorrow. Heading to RI and back. Wonder if I'll get spotted...
Not sure he was a Dick, I assumed (***.....) he was one of those, "I only wave at 8 cylinder car" guys........!
So... bascially... he can't wave. Ever.
Spotted, wednesday evening:
Black (or Midnight Blue) 991 with LEDs in Burlington: Female driver unaware of a) traditional wave/light flash b) blue tooth connectivity (or cell phone super-glued to head....)
Black 981 Cayman (not sure about <>/S/GTS) in Woburn. Driver too worried about impressing female passenger to bow to tradition (see above.)
Gray Panamera (old hunchback body, not new hotness body) spotted in Woburn as it was speeding away.
We were in the Macan, so, I assume, mistaken for 'not-a-real-Porsche.'
It did get me thinking that I haven't seen a 928 on the road in a long time.
And nobody spotted me on my way to RI and back mid-day. Traffic on 24 is just as stupid as I remember.
Spotted a woman driving an Agate Gray Macan (?) out of Wyndemere Dr. in Southborough yesterday afternoon
around 2:45. She just looked at me, since I too was driving a similar vehicle (probably thinking, "I thought WE owned
the ONLY ONE in this town!!!").
Or, another case of "not a 'real' (whatever that means...) Porsche".
If it's not a 'real' Porsche, what is it - really? A Toyota Venza? There seem to be an explosion of those over the last few
months. Are they giving them away - or what?
991 C4S black on 495 this afternoon. I was in the 'truck.' I see so few of these on the road that I forget how !~@#ing good they look going down the road.
When I got back I pulled out my 991 for its first Spring drive.
I think I spotted the same red 991 GTS convertible around Rt 9 in Natick this afternoon, and then saw a white air-cooled 911 pulling out of a garage on Powisset St in Dover tonight.
Anyone else going to Lime Rock tomorrow? Pretty sure I will spot a lot of wet, dirty Porsches
911 Turbo S, pretty new looking in bright blue, and 718 Cayman, with as my wife pointed out "nice yellow brakes"...... also in bright blue...... both off Rt 133......
