VW group is using Porsche engineers to work out the driving dynamics for a platform which will be used across many brands, not just Audi. The nature of the electric car architecture encourages this and the future of auto manufacturing will be about configuring standardized modular chassis and drive components to suit the intended purpose of the vehicle.
If I were head of this project, I would make a short wheelbase rear drive coupe similar to the 911 with 25% of the battery pack behind the rear axle to preserve the rear biased handling that Porschephiles love, then worry about mini Panameras later.
