Hi - I just ran across your thread about being able to "slip" the OEM shifter noise insulation block in place from the inside of the car. If not too much trouble, can you please give me a few pointers so I don't damage and tear the thing up? It's an 83 NA.
I have the insulation - came in yesterday however folks from 944online are telling me the only way to install is from the bottom up (removing trans - which I am not going to do).
