Thanks for sharing, that's looks like a blast to drive!!! You're right, that car ahead of you was choosing some odd places to slow down, and I'm sure it's hard to figure out if something feels out of place when you've made so many changes to the car - the whole car probably felt somewhat new. Pretty heartbreaking crash. Glad you're ok. The beast shall live to race again.

Yes, a real bummer. Slowly rebuilding it but running very low on $$ so just need to hang in there and be patient.

Here is the session before the crash. Car felt all new with so many different parts in there. It also felt somewhat unstable in the rear. I was just too consumed by excitement of being back in it that I should have realised something was wrong. You can see/hear it trying to throw me off the track at various turns.
The car in front of me didn't help either. He kept slowing down at strange places. I couldn't get any rythym.

    The crash:

Man, that sucks! Glad you're ok and the car isn't a loss. Keep me posted on the rebuild pics.

Hi, thanks for that compliment. It did look pretty good...unfortunately that pic was taken not long before my first time back at the racetrack in 18 months. Had a suspension setup issue and quite a big crash. Car is being repaired slowly but also with some changes to the bodywork. It will probably not be as nice looking but it will allow me to run the right ride height which should mean no more expensive crashes due to that issue...I hope!!

saw your car on the Fikse Wheel thread. I have got to say, you have built the most gorgeous looking 944 I have ever seen. Just, stunning. Well done sir.
