    jock, i would worry about the leaking of oil in the coolant. are you sure its oil in the water or water in the oil? pull the drain plug, and see if water comes out firsts. (quick check. not a lot of mess) yes, you dont need the oil cooler. you can pull the contents through the bolt caps where the t-stat and pressure regulator are. ill have to research what is needed and what is tossed away. then you need the caps to replace the oil lines. 928 intl has them. no negatives at all. i had a radiator that was leaking water into the oil , so that was the side tanks needing replacement which i did. no oil in the water though.
