Hi, sorry about the late reply. These are 18" SSR GT3s. The previous owner bought them from Tirerack a few years ago. They fit perfectly flush, and still give you a small lip (which is hard to get on a narrow body). They are much lighter than the BBS Lms I just put on the car.
They have been taking up space in my garage for a few months. The tires are barely 2 years old, and only have a few thousand street miles on them (car was never tracked and camber is set for street only). They are Pirelli's PZeros N4s on them.
I am starting to consider selling the set (big maybe for now). Let me know if you are interested.
I got it last dec and it is my second one ..had a 964 RS before. The C4S is an easirer car to live with, especially if you are mechanically inclined. I just got the PSS10 suspension so that's my next move. A couple of GTA Rennlister were thinking about creating a mini-group; would you be interested?
Hi Glenn, I am good. I am still on the market for my replacement car. I almost bought a vintage Porsche racing car last week but decided that I want a daily driver (including in winter) rather than a track car sitting in my garage. The 997 prices are becoming very attractive and I cannot resist any longer. Therefore, I am officially looking for an '05 or '06 997 with CPO guarantee. My buddy John @ Pfaff is keeping an eye out for me. I will most likely not take the car to the track, but I will try autocross with the PCA initially.
Cheers,
Arnaud
Thnx Berg. The car in my Avatar 993TTS is "gone with the wind". Total loss. I have another 993TT now. My regrets over that lost love can never be erased, alwasy on my mind. Nightmare...sadly enough.
