The electric steering is basically done to move weight around, not a lot of gain in terms of HO.
The water-pump is not worth the effort since you would have to do some custom fabrication to keep the T-belt working correctly.
Changing from mechanical energy to electrical and back to mechanical causes a total lose. You are just using more of the alternator to run the other components. Yes, the steering won't draw current when not turning the wheel, but that is only a % of the time when on the track.
    I trust whatever Louie says!

BTW, the S80 uses a different software and it looks very good. I should not have asked I downloaded it a couple of months ago, and I`ve been playing around with it. Since the S80 have so many functions and features it`s a bit hard at first to remember where you find the settings and maps, but I pretty much got it now

Louis said something about "Auto-Tune" on the S80. Do you know if it works?

    Thanx a lot John

I know I can`t take your word for it, but 380-ish is what I was hoping for

    550 RWHP ! ? ! ? WOW !

I`ll contact you in the summer

I`m thinking of switching to an electric steering and electric water pump to free up as much energy and weight from the engine as possible. What is your comment on that?

    Hey John

I have a couple of questions regarding your DTA managed engine:

    - What kind of power are you producing?

    - (With what kind of mod.s to the engine?)

    - Does the DTA Pro8 have "coil per plug"?

    - What do you think of the software?

    - Do you have the DTA GDASH? And if so, what do you think of it?

    - Are there any "start-up " maps available for the 32V Porsche engine?

    - And finally; do you have any estimates on how much HP/TQ a stock S4 engine with headers, twin 3" pipes, x-pipe, twin 3" race cats, twin Flow Master mufflers, air pump delete, aircon.pump delete, el.water pump, el.steering pump, "coil per plug" will produce?

    Thank you
