    Hi,

Yeah, would enjoy showing the car off. I actually live about 20 min from Alice's, so stay in touch. Keep your finger's crossed that the Touring's get certified soon. Feel free to email me at: cboynton8@mac.com.

    Hi Chris.
I live in the South Bay, I’d love to see your GT3T when it comes in. Let me know if we can meet somewhere. Maybe Alice’s or anywhere. I’ve given up trying to get an allocation, but still would love to have a Touring.

No worries Chris. Good idea about calling PCNA, I'll do that.

As you can probably guess from my avatar, I'm going with Guards Red. My first Porsche was a burgundy color (Ruby Red Metallic) but all the others have been silver, so I wanted something bolder this time. I'm getting full leather and lift (my driveway is also steep) as well as a few other odds and ends. I debated long and hard with myself about the PCCB's. I finally decided that they were one of those things that if I didn't get them, every time I saw them on another car I'd have regrets. For my intended use, street and autocross, they should be plenty durable and the weight advantage is a plus, along with the relative lack of dust and the fact that they just look great. They can't really be justified on a cost/benefit basis, but then neither can the car itself. It just come down to what you want. Enjoy your day at Sears Point....

    Best,
    Mike

Hi Chris, thanks for your message. Like you, I have other cars available for daily use so my GT3 will be used for random drives, the occasional road trip, and PCA autox events. I'm a member of Redwood Region and we have a nice site at the Sonoma County Airport that allows layouts that are more open than the usual parking lot set up. I'd also like to do a DE or two a year as I'm only about 1/2 hour from Sears Point/Sonoma Raceway or whatever they're calling it now.

I've been wondering if there will be a GT3 at the SF auto show later this month. The fact that there will be one in LA is a pretty good indicator, I suspect. Have you decided on color or other options yet? What's your time frame for a build date, or do you know?

Anyway, nice to hear from you.

    Regards,
    Mike
