Thanks for the quick reply! I am aware of this, but I still need the Sachs part number for the green one. The thing is, vendors often claim they still have the correct one, but they send me a blue one. Which is compatible but indeed too stiff... With the correct Sachs number there can be no discussion. :-)

    Hi Raj,

I'm on the lookout for the green striped pressure plate for my 968. In a 2008 post you mention to have seen a green one at the dealer with Sachs part nr 3032 125 199. Just when I thought to have found one I came accross this plate nr with a blue stripe! Kinda confused now :-). Any chance you know the correct SACHS nr? PS I'm aware Sachs doesn't make these anymore but somebody somewhere has got to have one... See the pic I found.

    Hey 968TurboS,

I saw you posted that you've changed the starter on a Cayenne 4.8 before. Can you give me a pointer on one step? What should I do about the fuel injectors and assembly? Should I take the one out just on bank one? Take out all via the bolts holding the the pair of injectors? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks again,
    -Adam

    Hey Raj,

Its been a longtime since we last conversed. My 968 has been sitting in storage for the last 4 years and am moving to Lyndhurst, NJ and am planning on using it over the summer months. Would you happen to know of a good place to get it serviced with some TLC? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Do you still have your Durametric enthusiast version for sale? If so, how much and is it the rectangular or round plug? As I understand it I can clear the airbag light with the enthusiast version, correct? Also, any other observations about the differences between professional & enthusiast would be appreciated. I have a 2006 Boxster 987. Thanks.

    Hi Raj,

I used to be active on various 968 forums, but never did buy one. I've had about 14 different 944/951's though ;-). I'm back in the market and am considering one of the "Purple" coupes from 1992. I'd like to hook up with the 968 community and I found you here on Rennlist. Can you recommend any other sites I should get on?

BTW, I read the article about your cars in Excellence or Pano--can't remember which and enjoyed it immensely. I have a really nice '87 928 S4 that I'm going to sell and try and replace with a nice 968 now.

    All the best,
